---------------
The Creative City Network of Canada invites its members to a nation-wide conference call on Thursday, April 14, 2022 at 2:00 PM (Eastern).
The Next Era of Placemaking
This is the third National Call of 2022. All CCNC members are welcome. This Call will be formatted as a roundtable with opportunity for questions and sharing from participants throughout.
Consider how placemaking has changed since 2020. How have the challenges evolved? What is the impact on your community? What is the difference between placemaking and placekeeping? How is your municipality preparing to adjust your approach to placemaking practices in the future?
All of this and more will be up for discussion at the third National Call for Members in July.
Who is invited:
All CCNC members are invited. CCNC will be verifying that registered emails belong to representatives of Municipal, Organizational, or Individual members.
Things to Bring:
Prepare for this Call by looking through your current Culture Plan, recent local public health announcements that impact your work, and prepare to share updates or questions with your colleagues.
-------------
Prior to this call, registrants will have the opportunity to submit initial thoughts, examples of their work, and questions for their colleagues to events@creativecity.ca to be incorporated into the discussion. If you are unable to attend, but have specific questions or would like to share your work, please email events@creativecity.ca and we will endeavour to share on your behalf.
Following the call, key discussion points will be shared with the full membership. To access previous meeting notes, sign into your Members Portal Account and visit our Members Portal main page, or join the CCNC Membership Forum, our private Facebook group*: LINK
We anticipate this may be an in-demand discussion for our members. In an effort to accommodate everyone's input, this call will be open to 50 member representatives.
*This group will be phased out in 2022. Please subscribe to the CCNC Members Portal discussion forums to keep in touch with colleagues and stay up to date with CCNC's announcements.
